Systems Technician (1 Post)
Location: Supercomputing DepartmentRole Summary: The Systems Technician plays a vital role in maintaining and supporting high-performance computing (HPC) systems, ensuring the smooth operation of hardware, software, and infrastructure critical for advanced research and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the installation, configuration, monitoring, and maintenance of HPC hardware and software.
- Provide technical support to clients, research teams, and resident innovators.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation of system configurations, procedures, and updates.
- Support the development and implementation of backup and recovery procedures.
- Assist in the installation, monitoring, and maintenance of electrical systems.
- Participate in the maintenance and repair of refrigeration and air-conditioning systems.
- Ensure the workspace is clean, safe, and orderly.
- Minimum Qualification: National Certificate in Electrical Power, Information Technology, Telecommunication, Air-conditioning, or Electronics.
- At least 1 year of relevant experience, preferably at a research institute.
