Systems Technician (1 Post)

Location: Supercomputing Department
Role Summary: The Systems Technician plays a vital role in maintaining and supporting high-performance computing (HPC) systems, ensuring the smooth operation of hardware, software, and infrastructure critical for advanced research and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the installation, configuration, monitoring, and maintenance of HPC hardware and software.
  • Provide technical support to clients, research teams, and resident innovators.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation of system configurations, procedures, and updates.
  • Support the development and implementation of backup and recovery procedures.
  • Assist in the installation, monitoring, and maintenance of electrical systems.
  • Participate in the maintenance and repair of refrigeration and air-conditioning systems.
  • Ensure the workspace is clean, safe, and orderly.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Minimum Qualification: National Certificate in Electrical Power, Information Technology, Telecommunication, Air-conditioning, or Electronics.
  • At least 1 year of relevant experience, preferably at a research institute.
