RISK OFFICER

Location: Harare, Zimbabwe

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain the organisational Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework.
  • Conduct risk assessments for operations, cybersecurity, cloud services, HPC clusters, and business processes.
  • Maintain and update the risk register, including risk scoring and mitigation plans.
  • Coordinate business continuity planning, disaster recovery, and incident response.

SYSTEMS TECHNICIAN (1 POST)

Location: Supercomputing Department

Role Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Systems Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial airconditioning, particularly in high-performance computing environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnosing and repairing issues with air-conditioning systems to prevent overheating of critical hardware
  • Monitoring and adjusting temperature and humidity levels in server rooms to meet specific requirements for supercomputing equipment, ensuring optimal performance
  • Maintain clean and orderly workstations
  • Supervise and train air-conditioning apprentices in both theoretical and practical aspects of the trade
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations during all installations and repairs
