Reports to: Human Resources Manager
Location: Harare, Zimbabwe
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer recruitment, selection, onboarding, and employee records.
- Implement and monitor HR policies, procedures, and labour compliance.
- Coordinate performance management, training, and staff development initiatives.
- Provide guidance on disciplinary, grievance, and employee relations matters.
- Manage payroll inputs, leave administration, and benefits in liaison with finance.
- Ensure compliance with labour laws and organisational policies.
- Promote sound industrial relations and organisational culture.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A university degree in Human Resources Management or a very closely related field.
- Professional certification in Personnel Management or Training Management, or a related diploma with IPMZ or an equivalent recognised body.
- A Master's Degree in Human Resources Management or a related field will be an added advantage.
- Minimum of three (3) years’ relevant HR experience.
- Working knowledge of HR and payroll software, such as Belina, will be an added advantage.
- Sound knowledge of Zimbabwean labour laws and HR best practices.
- Demonstrable knowledge of ICT systems.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail with high level of professionalism and confidentiality.

INTERNAL VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT
SYSTEMS TECHNICIAN (ICT & PLATFORMS)
Reports to: Systems Manager
Location: Harare, Zimbabwe
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine installation, configuration, monitoring, and basic troubleshooting of HPC, cloud, and data centre ICT platforms, including servers, operating systems, virtualisation, and storage systems.
- Monitor system health, performance, logs, and alerts across HPC clusters, cloud platforms, and critical services, and escalate faults in accordance with incident management procedures.
- Execute approved operational tasks such as system startups and shutdowns, user account setup, access management, backups, and scheduled maintenance activities.
- Assist with deployment of software updates, patches, and configuration changes under approved change management processes.
- Support data centre ICT operations, including rack-and-stack activities, cabling, hardware replacement, and coordination with facilities and infrastructure teams.
- Maintain accurate operational records, system logs, asset information, and daily inspection checklists, and update job cards or tickets as required.
- Comply with information security, safety, and operational procedures, and support audits, inspections, and business continuity activities related to HPC and cloud services.
Qualifications and Experience:
- At least a university degree in High Performance Computing, Electronics, Computer Engineering, Network Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a closely related field.

DEPUTY DIRECTOR - SYSTEMS SUPPORT

- Lead, manage, mentor, and build an engineering team to deliver innovative advances in High-Performance Computing.
- Identify and incorporate new technologies to High Performance Computing as the new technology become available.
- Carry out strategic planning of technical functions, specifically developing future plans for Centre systems, facilities and personnel.
- Manage acquisition of infrastructure, equipment and software.

DEPUTY DIRECTOR - APPLICATIONS
Reports to: ZCHPC Director
Location: Harare, Zimbabwe
Key Responsibilities:
- Business development, customer relations, marketing, consultancy and research.
- Facilitate specialised research and development projects and activities on ZCHPC application areas including geospatial and earth observation science, engineering, life sciences, artificial intelligence and big data analytics.
- Carry out strategic planning, implementing monitoring and evaluation of operational functions, specifically developing future plans for Centre systems, facilities and personnel.
- Ensure effective communication between ZCHPC, and HPC users and stakeholders.
- Coordinate quality management systems.
- Collaborate with HPC users to determine their needs, and translate them into business requirements to drive sales and improvements.
- Direct the development of project strategy and budget in line with the ZCHPC constitution.
- Facilitate HPC user training, workshops and conferences.
- Generate revenue.
- Negotiate all agreements.
- Identify future business needs and make recommendations.
- Develop and promote human and institutional capacity strengthening in the field of High Performance Computing in Zimbabwe.
